What you need to know about Woodside Park

Woodside Park

Woodside Park is a north London suburb located west of North Finchley and within the London Borough of Barnet. The district is mainly residential, with several substantial Victorian and Edwardian properties that have been converted into flats sitting east of its tube station, as well as a number of semi-detached and detached mid-20th century homes and more modern housing options to the north and west, respectively. Its previous commercial centre at Chanctonbury Way has largely been superseded by the parades of shops in North Finchley, its relatively busier neighbour to the east, and many of its original shops have closed and been replaced by smaller, more specialised businesses. In addition to its own tube station, West Finchley is also close enough to provide another route for accessing the London Underground, while the New Southgate railway station some distance to the east is the closest direct means of taking overground transport.
