What you need to know about Redbridge

Redbridge

Redbridge is one of the districts in the London Borough of Redbridge, and sits between Wanstead and Gants Hill, occupying the area immediately east of the junction of the North Circular Road (A406) and Eastern Avenue and north of Cranbrook. The southern half of the district is occupied mostly by residential properties along with a pre-school on its stretch of the River Roding, several primary schools, and a high school, while Valentines Park, just south of the Gants Hill tube station, provides Redbridge’s residents with ample opportunity for sports and other forms of outdoor recreation. There are also a few restaurants and a hotel near the Redbridge tube station, but most of the district’s commercial amenities are further north and clustered on the southern side of Woodford Avenue. The Redbridge station is on the London Underground’s Central line, while Ilford and Manor Park are the nearest railway stations.
