What you need to know about Lea Bridge

Lea Bridge

Lea Bridge is a district that sits on the boundary between the London Boroughs of Hackney and Waltham Forest and covers both green and grey spaces. Much of its area is taken up by Lee Valley Park and the northern and southern halves of Millfields Recreation Ground, the latter of which is considered one of the most well-appointed open spaces in the United Kingdom. The reopening of the Lea Bridge railway station in the late 2010s led to a number of modernised development projects in the Lea Bridge area, including several blocks of upmarket flats and a handful of new residential towers near the station. The district’s residents are served by a good selection of transport links as well, with the Clapton station’s Chingford line services and multiple bus routes offering alternatives to its own station’s Lea Valley line trains.
