What you need to know about Colindale

Colindale

Colindale is an area in the north-west London region that is mainly located within the London Borough of Barnet. The area became a target for large-scale development and the construction of numerous new residential blocks, including a number of more upmarket properties. Majority of Colindale’s commercial amenities are concentrated around its stretch of Edgware Road (technically part of Brent rather than Barnet), which features a combination of independent and high-street shops and a good selection of restaurants and coffee shops, in addition to several supermarkets and Colindale Business Park. The Royal Air Force Museum is also in Colindale, as is the Centre for Infections of Public Health England, along with most of Barnet Council’s offices. Colindale has its own London Underground station, which is on the Northern line, while the Mill Hill Broadway station to the north-east is served by Thameslink trains.
