Residents only have to take a short 5-minute drive via Mortlake Road to reach the facility located at Townmead Rd, Kew, Richmond TW9 4EL. While this facility is open to all residents, only those who booked a slot 2 weeks in advance are permitted to tip, however, residents could also still book a slot days before visiting if there are cancellations. This site accepts all types of household waste besides liquids, hazardous waste and clinical waste. Commercial and industrial waste is also accepted with a fee and the list of charges are provided on the council website. Traders and businesses are not required to book a slot but will be asked to present a Waste Carriers License to be permitted to tip. The civic amenity site operates daily from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays and from 9 pm to 4 pm on weekends.
