What you need to know about Queen's Park

Queen's Park

Queen’s Park is an area of west London with roughly a north-south split between Brent and the City of Westminster. The district, which was named in honor of Queen Victoria and is centered around a park of the same name, is one of the country’s best examples of urban green space. Its properties are predominantly moderately-sized Victorian buildings, many of which still retain their original details. The park itself features a number of large open areas, extensive sports facilities, an ornamental garden, and even an animal farm for children. Queen’s Park is also home to a bustling commercial area along Salusbury Road with numerous shops, dining establishments, and public houses, plus a weekly farmer’s market every Sunday. The Queen’s Park tube and railway station is close to the centre of the district as well and shares the neighbourhood’s commuter traffic with the nearby Kilburn Park tube station and Brondesbury, Kensal Rise, and Kilburn High Road railway stations.
