What you need to know about Fairlop

Fairlop

Fairlop is one of the northern districts within the London Borough of Redbridge and considered part of the larger district of Ilford. The area is mostly open space with a good amount of fields and forestry that makes its surrounding areas ideal for sports, fishing, and various other outdoor activities including water sports. It's more developed sections are concentrated along its northern and western borders, which it shares with the neighbouring districts of Hainault and Fullwell Cross, respectively, but there are a number of residential and commercial properties along Forest Road, north of Fairlop Waters, and along Hainault Road. As Fairlop also technically includes part of the Barkingside High Street, its residents are afforded convenient access to the wide range of restaurants, coffee shops, banks, and other retail amenities situated along it. The Fairlop tube station is on the London Underground’s Central line and located near the western end of Forest Road.
