Havering

Havering-atte-Bower is a historical village situated to the far north of the London Borough of Havering. It borders the historic county of Essex and is located 24 kilometres on the northeastern side of Charing Cross. Havering-atte-Bower sits on one of London’s highest elevations which offer spectacular views of East London, Kent and Essex. The leafy village is also home to several listed buildings, cottages and villas, along with several cottages, semis and terraced houses. Residents of Havering-atte-Bower also enjoy the large grasslands and greenery in the area due to the three public parks surrounding the village. Havering-atte-Bower also offers recreational grounds, playgrounds, leisure spaces and several entertainment facilities. North Road is also lined with a fair selection of shops, organic food stalls, pubs and casual eateries. It is just a little over an hour away from the city centre via route M11 and is served by the Romford railway station.
