Haringey’s own RRC is situated in N22 on Western Road just 0.5 miles south of Alexandra Palace train station accessible via Coburg Road, or on foot across Wood Green Common.

A full list of accepted Materials is available on the North London waste authority website however It should be noted that hard plastics, asbestos, gas bottles and tyres, and household and garden chemicals are not permitted at the site. What rubbish collection services are available in Haringey?

Haringey council provides bulky waste collection services for residents however items must be left in an accessible location outside the property by 6:30 am on the day of collection. It is worth noting that one-off collections of garden waste are counted as a bulky waste item, And carpets and rugs must be presented in a sealed bag. Bulky waste collection costs just £20 for up to 5 items, and £10 for each additional item. There is a free service available from a separate company advertised on the council website for white goods and large electronic items, alternatively residents can take furniture and white goods to the nearest recycling centre for disposal.

Haringey council collects mixed recycling as standard from wheelie bins and public recycling banks across the borough.
