Eastfield residents who prefer a more practical waste management solution to dispose of household waste are just 30 minutes away from the council-run reuse and recycling centre on Amenity Way. This tip and recycling centre accepts all types of domestic waste apart from hazardous waste, clinical waste and liquids. The facility operates from 8 am to 4 pm on weekdays while it opens at 9 am until 4 pm on Saturdays, and 2 pm on Sundays. Visitors are required to register and present proof of address and photo ID in order to be permitted to tip. It is also advisable to check the council website first or call the facility before making the trip to find out the schedule, restrictions and other information.

Residents are provided with complimentary and regularly scheduled collections of rubbish, recyclable materials and food waste. Residents can also organise a fortnightly garden waste collection subscription through the council website, this service has an annual cost of £77.50 per bin hired or a pack of 25 sacks.
